Yellow fever - vaccination

The Yellow Fever vaccine protects against yellow fever, a serious viral infection transmitted by infected mosquitoes in parts of Africa and South America. A single dose provides long-lasting, often lifelong protection and is required for entry into certain countries. The vaccine is recommended for travellers aged 9 months and older visiting or transiting at-risk areas. Proof of vaccination is provided in an International Certificate of Vaccination (Yellow Card) after administration.
